E. Coli in your bottled water

More than one dozen brand names of bottled water are on recall after risk of E. Coli was discovered.

The water source was potentially compromised, but no reports of illness have been made thus far.

The recall is voluntary.

The brands affected were bottled at both the Hamburg, PA and Allentown, PA facilities from the time frame of 3 a.m. (EDT) June 10th to 8 p.m. (EDT) June 18, 2015. Only spring water is affected.

Western Beef Blue
Wegman’s

The only affected products have codes that begin with the letter F (for Hamburg) or A (for Allentown). The first digit after the letter indicates the number of the production line. The next two numbers indicate the day, then the month in letters, the year, and then the time, based on a 24-hour clock.
